Who am I?

I'm Dr Julia Haarhuis and I created this program because I saw a significant gap between scientific knowledge and the guidance women actually receive.

Many women are told to “go back on birth control,” “just wait it out,” or “go the IVF route if you want to get pregnant,” without receiving evidence-based lifestyle support.

I experienced hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA) myself for over 2 years and I know how overwhelming and confusing the period recovery process can be, especially without appropriate guidance.

I now help women like you - ambitious, active, career-driven and ready to get pregnant - to restore their menstruation and ovulation, without medication or invasive assisted reproductive technologies, using the FLOW Method™.

In this step we discuss what is needed to restore menstruation and ovulation by strategically fueling your body. We calculate energy availability targets and create a structured nutrition plan, while avoiding chaotic “all-in” eating, blind weight gain, or giving up structure. This way, you can nourish your body with clarity.

Pillar 2: Lifestyle Audit

In this step we focus on reducing the (invisible) stress load suppressing your hormones, without quitting exercise entirely or becoming sedentary, so we activate your parasympathetic nervous system (= the body’s “rest state”) and your body can shift into a state where it feels safe enough to switch back on menstruation & ovulation.

Pillar 3: Ovulation Optimization Protocol

In this step we cover evidence-based methods to confirm if you are ovulating and on track of period recovery. We will also improve cycle quality using biomarker tracking, without guessing or chatGPTing symptoms, so you know your body is truly on track of period recovery.
