Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of coaching services provided by Dr. Julia Haarhuis, trading as Recover HA (“Recover HA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or participating in any Recover HA services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services

Recover HA provides educational and coaching services focused on period recovery and menstrual health, primarily for women experiencing hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA) or irregular/absent menstrual cycles, as well as post-recovery cycle maintenance.

Recover HA does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Coaching services are educational and supportive in nature and are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.

By purchasing our services, you acknowledge that:

  • You are purchasing coaching support, not medical treatment.

  • Restoration or maintenance of menstrual cycles is not guaranteed within any specific timeframe.

  • Outcomes vary based on individual physiology, behavior, compliance, and external factors beyond our control.

Our services may include, but are not limited to:

  • 1:1 coaching sessions

  • Personalized recovery guidance

  • Educational resources

  • Messaging or email support between sessions

  • Digital materials and tools

2. Eligibility

By purchasing or using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.

  • You confirm that you are not currently in a medical or psychiatric condition that would make participation unsafe, including active eating disorder treatment requiring intensive or inpatient care.

  • You understand that coaching is not a replacement for medical supervision when clinically indicated.

  • You agree to seek medical advice where appropriate and to inform Recover HA of any relevant health conditions, diagnoses, or medications.

    Recover HA reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if participation is deemed unsafe.

If you have a diagnosed medical condition or are under the care of a physician, you are encouraged to inform your healthcare provider before starting coaching.

3. Payments & Billing

  • All fees must be paid, either in full or in monthly installments, upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payment is required before access to coaching sessions, resources, or support begins.

  • Accepted payment methods may include by credit card, Klarna, Bancontact, or Amazon Pay, as specified at checkout or agreed individually.

  • Prices are listed in the applicable currency and may be subject to change at any time for future purchases.

4. No Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable.

Due to the nature of coaching services, refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Partial participation

  • Perceived lack of results

  • Failure to follow recommendations

  • Early termination by the client

If you are unable to attend a session, rescheduling may be offered at Recover HA’s discretion, subject to availability and notice requirements (see Section 5).

5. Coaching Sessions & Communication

  • Coaching sessions are delivered online unless otherwise specified.

  • Sessions must be attended at the scheduled time.

  • Missed sessions without sufficient notice may be forfeited.

  • Reasonable notice for rescheduling is typically required (e.g., 24-48 hours), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Between-session support (e.g., DM or email support) is provided within reasonable boundaries and does not constitute on-demand or emergency support.

Recover HA reserves the right to set communication boundaries to protect capacity and quality of service.

6. Client Responsibilities

By participating in Recover HA services, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for your own health decisions and actions.

  • You will provide accurate and honest information relevant to your coaching.

  • You understand that results depend on your participation and consistency.

  • You will seek appropriate medical care when necessary.

You acknowledge that coaching is a collaborative process, and progress cannot occur without active engagement.

7. No Guarantees

Recover HA makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Restoration of menstruation

  • Time to recovery

  • Hormonal outcomes

  • Fertility outcomes

  • Physical, emotional, or psychological changes

Any examples or testimonials shared are not guarantees of results and reflect individual experiences only.

8. Health & Medical Disclaimer

Recover HA does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Nothing provided through our services should be interpreted as medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical concerns, medications, or diagnoses.

You agree that you are voluntarily participating in coaching services and assume full responsibility for your health and wellbeing.

9. Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)

We process personal data, including health-related information, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

By using our services, you provide explicit consent for us to:

  • Collect and process personal and health-related data

  • Use this data to deliver coaching services

  • Communicate with you via email and messaging platforms

We will:

  • Only collect data necessary for service delivery

  • Store data securely

  • Not share your data without consent unless required by law

You have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data

  • Withdraw consent at any time

  • Withdrawal of consent may limit or terminate your ability to use our services.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Recover HA, including but not limited to:

  • Written content

  • Educational resources

  • Frameworks

  • Methods (including the FLOW Method™)

  • Videos, documents, and worksheets

are the intellectual property of Recover HA and may not be copied, shared, distributed, or reproduced without prior written consent.

You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with participation in coaching services and agree that you are solely responsible for your health decisions and outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Recover HA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income, fertility outcomes, or health-related consequences.

  • Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the services in question.

12. Termination

Recover HA reserves the right to terminate services immediately if a client:

  • Violates these Terms

  • Engages in abusive, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior

  • Uses services in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose

No refunds will be issued upon termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.

14. Updates to These Terms

Recover HA may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
